**No nights, no weekends - Monday through Friday, 8 hour shifts**
Summary
- One of our largest healthcare clients in central New Jersey is looking to bring an additional Registered Nurse onto their outpatient team – Specifically supporting Oncology.
- This position will heavily focus on phone triaging, but there are also days where the nurse will be hands-on with patients
- High-volume patient care over the phone.
- Handling reviewing patient results and delivering those results over the phone, patient education, triaging, taking and fulfilling orders from physicians, reviewing labs and relaying info to patients, etc
- This is an oncology practice – Kidney cancer, bladder cancer, etc. So keep in mind that this nurse will handle calls related to those cases
Must Haves
- Active Pennsylvania or New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with current RN experience
- BLS certification/CPR certification
- EMR experience (this health system uses Athena specifically)
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Phone triaging experience (does not have to be lengthy)
- Ability and advanced professionalism/communication skills to handle the high-volume, and high-quality, patient care that expected in this role
