JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Process Modeler/Architect to join the team sitting fully remote in support of a Federal client. This individual will be responsible for the following:
Facilitate working sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders during business process elicitation/elaboration (both virtual and in-person) and construct BPMN 2.0 compliant process diagrams.
Assist with planning for work efforts including selection of key participants for work effort teams.
Conduct subject matter research, including analyzing process and workflow documentation and eliciting process related content from relevant authoritative sources.
Creation and elaboration of business processes in real-time during working sessions depicting current state and future state processes to identify potential gaps and risks.
Work closely with information architects to identify data requirements for each activity in the process diagrams, with requirements analysts to articulate requirements to expose adequate detail in the process diagrams, and with IT architects and solution designers to ensure understanding of business architecture and relationships to technical architecture.
Serve as team representative at designated meetings and respond to questions/tasks related to business process management/modeling.
Assist with internal process architecture team related projects/tasks and provide regular status reporting on ongoing work efforts.
Assist with development of proposed solutions that solve/alleviate client problems.
Act as mentor/trainer for other modelers/architects on the team for assignment-specific topics, as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3 years of referenceable experience developing process models and/or workflow diagrams.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
Working knowledge and experience using industry best practice modeling standards including the modeling standard Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) revision 2 (BPMN 2.0).
Demonstrated proficiency in both knowledge and experience with software tools or systems used to create process models and workflow diagrams, such as Microsoft Visio.
DESIRED SKILLS
Healthcare background and/or Veterans Affairs experience is PREFERRED.
Experience working on government contracts/projects (specifically with VA or DoD) a plus.
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF, Zachman) a plus.
Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI or equivalent a plus.
