An large medical device/scientific instrument company is looking for an Optical Tester to join their Manufacturing Optical Test team in Piscataway, NJ. This company provides an extensive array of instruments and systems for applications ranging from automotive R&D, process and environmental monitoring, in-vitro medical diagnostics, semiconductor manufacturing and metrology, to a broad range of scientific R&D and QC measurements. The candidate will be aligning, testing, and calibrating optical spectrometer-based systems and detectors. This is a hands-on electro-mechanical assembly position, and the candidate must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. This position will require an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in electronics, optics, physics, or related scientific instrumentation focus.
