Required Skills & Experience

• 1 years of special inspection and / or construction materials testing experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Use a company provided laptop or tablet computer and a working knowledge of MS Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A good work ethic and high level of personal integrity

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• The candidate for this project with additional years of experience and certification meeting some or all the following criteria will be considered for higher levels of compensation :
• Radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge
• ACI Concrete Strength Testing Certification
• ACI Aggregate Testing Certification
• ACI Aggregate Base Testing Certification
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician
• ICC Special Inspector Certifications (Reinforced Concrete, Pre-stressed Concrete, Soil, Spray-applied Fireproofing, Structural Masonry, Structural Welding, Structural Steel and Bolting)

Insight Global is actively seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our clients team in Jamestown North Dakota.

This exciting opportunity involves working on a spillway project with a focus on roller-compacted concrete. Responsibilities : As a Construction Materials Testing Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of the project.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Lab Work : Primarily conducting soil, aggregate, grout, soil cement, RCC, and CIP concrete testing in strict adherence to ACI standards.
• Field Testing : Participating in field testing and sampling activities.
• Dependability : This position demands candidates who are dependable, reliable, and committed to excellence. Work Schedule :
• Hours : Expect a rigorous work schedule of 60 hours per week, spanning 6 days a week. If you’re passionate about construction materials testing and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.

Compensation :

$25 / hr to $35 / hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
