Insight, LLC has been providing a full range of utility services in support of private and public commercial construction projects in the Washington Metro area since 2004. We are seeking an experienced utility construction foreman/supervisor to join our team of dedicated, creative problem solvers.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Coordinate and schedule construction crews
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to Construction Project Manager
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Utility Construction Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and construction estimating
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team of construction crews
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of quality control processes in construction
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and standards
