Pay: 35, 360 k a year- 42,640 k a year; 16.70 per hr to 20.50 an hr depending on experience
Location: Jupiter FL 33458
Shift: M-F 8:30- 5pm
Interview process: 2 interviews to hire
Must haves:
1 year of Medical Assistant experience within Oncology or hospital setting
-Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (diploma is required) OR 3 consistent years of Medical Assistant experience within Oncology
-Background rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, completing blood work, injections, collecting medication history and family history
-BLS and ACLS and through the American Heart Association
-Vaccinated against COVID (religious or medical exemptions are accepted)
Plusses:
-Experience with the Epic EMR system
-Certified or Registered Medical Assistant within the State of Florida
Day to day:
Insight Global is seeking two Medical Assistants for a hospital system based in Jupiter, Florida. The MAs will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, completing blood work, injections, collecting medication history, pain and depression assessments and documenting within the EMR, Epic. They will assist the physicians with other specialty labs and procedures as well as restocking rooms and triaging patients as needed. All of the patients within the Oncology unit could be seen for diagnosis, treatments, procedures, follow ups or be a family member of a patient. The ideal Medical Assistants for the role will be graduates from an accredited program with a diploma and have 1 year of experience as a MA from an oncology or hospital background. These Medical Assistants will report to a Nurse Practitioner and be assigned to on one of five DRs.
