What are the responsibilities and job description for the PROGRAM RN position at Inspira Health Network?
MAJOR FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, manages flow of clinic leading all staff in provision of medical and nursing care, ensuring high quality standards. Coordinates services with primary care team; acts as primary liaison. Triages and assesses participants as needed. Acts a gatekeeper for daily clinic scheduling. Provides skilled nursing care to participants, implements orders, develops appropriate plans of care, provides participant, caregiver, family and staff teaching and communicates participant’s condition to caregivers, primary care, and the interdisciplinary team. In the absence of the Clinic Coordinator or the Home Care Coordinator, assumes his/her responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year working with the frail or elderly
- 2 years of Nursing Experience
- Home care experience preferred
C. Certification/Licensure:
Current RN License – New Jersey
AHA BLS - CPR certification required
Valid New Jersey driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as described in Fleet Policy # TR118.
