Downtown Denver-based luxury subscription travel company seeks a dynamic service-oriented professional with deep capital market and M&A experience.
The SVP, Corporate Development will lead our M&A, capital raising, debt financing, and strategic planning practices. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of investment banking, and or private equity experience, including a deep understanding of business strategy, the vacation rental/hospitality industry, and product development methodologies.
The individual must possess the ability to support and work effectively with multiple levels of Inspirato senior leadership (especially the CEO and CFO), as well as with senior level external stakeholders and principals. This role is critical to the future of Inspirato and will be responsible for identifying growth and capital market drivers as well as high value M&A and partnership opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze growth strategy and new business development opportunities for Inspirato.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues in senior leadership to define and advance key initiatives, including overseeing the company’long-range plan and acquisition roadmap
- Lead due diligence efforts and analysis for potential corporate development opportunities, including M&A and strategic partnerships
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, growth opportunities and internal performance
- Develop and lead long-range business plan and strategy
- Lead and develop a small team of deal professionals
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- 10 years’ experience in investment banking and/or private equity
- BA/BS required; MBA preferred
- World-Class financial modeling, valuation, and power point experience
- Public company capital structure and transaction experience
- World-class combination of creative, analytical, and strategic skills
- Superior ability to present, lead meetings and communicate effectively to executives
- Innovative thinker and fast learner with excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Experience in people management, with strong communication skills and capabilities within high-performing cross-functional team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for luxury travel and hospitality industry - Preferred
Compensation - $215,000 - $260,000 Base Salary
We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.
Bonus – This position is eligible for the company’s bonus plan.
Equity - This position is eligible for the company's equity plan.
