What are the responsibilities and job description for the DSP Day Habilitation position at Inspire CP?
**Sign on Bonus** We are currently recruiting for full time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in our Day Habilitation program. The DSP will provide direct care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in group, community settings; assist individuals in their care to attend to their personal daily living needs and develop vocational, nutritional, social, and personal skills necessary to maintain or achieve the highest possible level of independence within the habilitation activities. In a safe manner, the DSPs will also transport individuals in agency vehicles to and from activities.
We are offering a $250 sign on bonus upon hire and an additional sign on bonus upon successful completion of probationary period.
A high school diploma or GED is required along with a valid NYS drivers license D or CDL-C or S (no permits or “junior” licenses). Experience with direct care and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
