We are searching for an Operations Manager at Kiawah Island Resort in Kiawah Island, SC. This Operations Manager will Assist and advise assigned Hotel Technicians in their day to day operations, to ensure that all levels of service and standards of operations are met and exceed in the perception of our clients and customers.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Assists with managing the daily operational activities of a full-service audio visual operation in a hospitality environment.
• Directs the workflow of audio visual team members.
• Develops and trains technicians on standards and company procedures.
• Ensures that all equipment and services are delivered on time, in good working condition and as specified by clients and the hotel.
• Ensuring that Hotel Technicians are positively interacting with Hotel Staff to maximize effectiveness of sales and service.
• Monitor training of all Hotel Technicians including but not limited to: appearance, technical skills, sales, customer service, maintenance of equipment, safety, relationship building and customer complaints.
• Schedule staff weekly
• Inventory Control
• Interface with operational departments
• Assist with hiring, training and coaching Hotel Technicians as required
• Provide directorship training for each staff technician.
• Work closely with technicians
• Maintain high visibility within assigned location.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Flexible with work schedule

Must Have Requirements:

• Complete knowledge of hotel operations.
• 4 years or more experience as an Audio Visual Technician.
• Excellent organization, communication and motivational skills.
• Service oriented with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Possess the ability to manage and work with many different types of people and personalities on many different levels.
