Seeking an experienced senior level Engineer with vast enterprise experience specifically with application packaging, VMware Workspace ONE, InstallShield AdminStudio, Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM). Ability to work collaboratively across teams as a third level Engineer utilizing defined online processes to successfully develop solutions to meet the business requirements or maintain core engineering solutions. This position requires expert understanding of VMware Workspace ONE, Windows 10, Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory, Group Policy, OSD & packaging troubleshooting using tools like Procmon, Filemon, Regmon, Event Viewer etc.
Additionally, a strong background in scripting is desirable as it pertains to desktop management/automation via PowerShell.
Tasks to be performed: Application packaging, Software migration from Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) to VMware Workspace ONE, User Acceptance Testing, OSD testing, peer QA, documentation of the solutions, retiring older/unused packages, workstation automation, scripting, Line of Business Application Profiles, Application Distributions, Administration of End User Management Tools.
Skillset Desired: Extensive experience with VMware Workspace ONE, Workspace ONE Intelligence, Workspace ONE Access, Workspace ONE Enterprise Application Repository, InstallShield AdminStudio, MSI, MST, custom actions, Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM Current), registries, PowerShell, UAT, Windows 10, VMWare ESX, VMWare Workstation, Hyper-V, O365, Adobe packaging tools, browsers. Prior experience with a globally diverse organization, Windows migrations, physical and virtual collaboration. Ability to independently problem solve and be self-directed, having attention to details, the ability to capture, organize and analyze information, and to communicate and collaborate within the team and with business partners. Perform well under high pressure situations, meet tight timelines, manage challenging assignments, and handle flexibly a variety of business needs. Experience with Software Lifecycle Management process is a plus.
