At Institute for Behavioral Health (IBH), we are currently hiring for Behavioral Interventionists who will provide in-home behavior intervention services to individuals with skill deficits and maladaptive behaviors and their families using principles of applied behavior analysis. Job duties include but are not limited to the accurate collection and documentation of behavioral data, redirecting clients during maladaptive behavioral episodes, and consulting with supervisors for ongoing program development.
At IBH, while teaching skills to the consumer and addressing behavior excesses in the home and community, we provide an array of comprehensive services to ensure holistic needs of consumer and family are met. Our goal is to ensure an effective programming through involvement of a qualified team of professionals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, or a related field. High school graduates with relevant experience and college students considered.
- Minimum of 1 year working with children with autism or other disabilities preferred.
- Spanish speaking desired
- ASL desired.
Requirements:
- Tuberculosis clearance
- DOJ/FBI criminal background clearance
- A valid California driver's license
Must have reliable transportation w/vehicle insurance
