We are currently seeking a full-time Shipping Specialist in our RTP, North Carolina office. InstroTek offers continuous training, competitive compensation, benefits and exceptional potential for growth in a rapidly growing company.
You Will:
- Product shipping and receiving
- Assist other staff members with shipping needs
- Arrange domestic and international shipments
- Pack freight shipments
- Receive and unload freight shipments
- Verification of received goods against record of shipment
- Inspection of received goods
- Working with other departments to ensure proper accounting and handling of paperwork
- Gathering of kit materials
- Order packaging materials as needed
- Ensure warehouse is clean and secure
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe manner

Requirements
You Should Have (Knowledge, aptitude)
- Reliable with a very high standard for quality
- Positive attitude in customer relations and strong interpersonal skills including solid written and verbal communications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to resolve shipping problems
- Experience working in a computerized office environment with word processing, database and spreadsheet skills sufficient to prepare shipping reports, forms, correspondence, certificates, etc. with speed and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with minimal supervision, and strong attention to detail
- Continuously lift 40 lbs.
- Valid driver's license, with good driving record
- Minor assembly of some warehouse parts prior to shipment is required
Qualification: (Education, Skills)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years related experience
- Able to continuously lift 40 lbs.
- Have a valid driver's license, with good driving record
- Be able to do assembly of some minor warehouse parts prior to shipment is required
