Currently hiring both Machine Operators and Assemblers for positions with a moderate to high level of complexity. Company provides training and a comprehensive benefit package.
Machine Operators will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a variety of specialized equipment, including the diagnoses of preventive maintenance alarms and machine set up guides.
Prepare a wide variety of mechanical and electrical assembly work of heavy weighted units which may require the use of hand tools.
The starting rate of pay for these roles is $17.00 per/hr.
(please note: shift differential is available for 2nd and 3rd shift openings)
Specific descriptions for the Machine Operator (Core Ops) and Advanced Assembly Operator positions are below. These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
- Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
- Maintain proper housekeeping.
- Assure that work meets expected quality standards. Understand CTQs.
- Perform daily inspection of all the equipment and tools prior to use.
- Operate specialized lifting equipment including hoists and cranes.
- Set up machine and materials needed based on shop orders and specifications.
- Perform torch brazing and varnishing operations.
- Perform simple set up operations such a quick punch and die changes, change electrodes, change weld nests, sharpen electrodes, change weld nests and adjust equipment settings.
- Hand brazing and soldering.
- Assemble and prepare units for testing.
- Provide guidance, training or mentoring for other team members as needed.
- Perform other general duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and work instructions.
- Lift up to 35lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use hand tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, wire strippers, and other miscellaneous tools.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring devices.
- Ability to operate required lifting devices.
- Ability to work with various materials and chemicals.
- Basic math skills.
- Frequent standing.
