We’re looking for an experienced, licensed Commercial Lines Account Associate to join our Encino, CA branch team!
Commercial Lines Account Associate success factors include:
- Performs a high volume and wide variety of insurance-related administrative tasks accurately and within required timeframes as directed/assigned by Account Team leadership including, but not limited to:
- Processing Policy Endorsements and carrier Audits; identify errors and facilitate corrective actions
- Issuing Auto ID Cards
- Issuing Certificates of Insurance and Evidences of Property
- Processing Policy Cancellations, Reinstatements and Lost Policy Releases (LPR)
- Preparing Check requests, Invoices and Premium Finance Agreements
- Preparing Summaries of Insurance
- Ordering Loss Runs and MVR’s
- Maintains frequent, transparent communication with account team regarding individual and team client service and policy administration activities, ensuring that the account team is fully informed of workload status, questions and/or any errors, discrepancies or changes related to assigned duties and tasks
- Ensures client loyalty by providing high levels of service and communication at all times
- Demonstrates personal maturity and contributes to building and maintaining a high-performance team environment - is respected by teammates.
- Demonstrates ability and internal motivation to learn, grow, and continuously improve
Qualified candidates will have:
- 2+ years of commercial lines insurance agency/brokerage experience
- An active P&C license preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, delegation and decision-making skills
- Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy
- PC proficiency, including MS Office
- Exceptional personal character, including a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist others at all times
