Field Service Technician - $18.88/hr
Hourly rate .55 cent mileage reimbursement tolls/parking.
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Territory: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309
Summary:
As a Field Service Tech, you will provide services, repairs and technical maintenance for ATM's, retail point of sale (POS) equipment, locksmithing, Electric Vehicle Charging (EVC) plus related PC and PC peripherals on customer premises. Our training consists of on-the-job mentoring as you might expect, but also formal classroom, virtual and self-paced training for extensive learning opportunities.
During the temp period you will dispatch from the company phone to locations in your territory using your own vehicle. A company car will be provided once you convert to perm.
Successful Candidates for this role:
Like to work with basic tools to do minor troubleshooting and repairs.

Must like driving, up to 250 miles a week.

Job Description:
Our Field Service Technicians respond to basic customer requests regarding equipment issues.
Candidates will be a part of a team and a territory where customer requests will be assigned throughout the day.
Using the provided tools and repair kits, you will travel to customer sites to resolve the issue.
Our entry level technicians respond to 5-8 calls per day across their territory.
• Perform minor maintenance on ATMs. Replacing light bulbs, card reader belts, air filters, etc.
• Perform basic installation functions, pulling cable, mounting devices, installing Mas-Hamilton locks.
• Perform technical fixes: clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc.
• Prioritizing and planning service calls
• Contacting the customer with the estimated time of arrival
• Escalating problems and reassigning calls when appropriate
• Works within a team environment, completes all required paperwork, manages, and maintains service parts inventory
• Following key/alarm/combination control processes in assigned area of responsibility
