Duties/Responsibilities:
- Engage with customer project team(s) and advise on communications best practices.
- Responsible for the development of communications strategy for large/strategic/complex projects.
- Develop communications plans for projects or program-level initiatives.
- Responsible for developing multi-media communications (emails, SharePoint articles, videos, etc.) for project stakeholders.
- Create, manage, and support ad hoc communications as assigned by the Program Comms Manager.
- Coordinate training communications and efforts with Senior Training Consultant and other training staff.
- Develop and/or support creation of training materials as needed.
- Report project status, risks and needs to the program manager.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Communications, Marketing, or relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customer facing communications or communications-related roles, with a total of 10 years professional work experience.
- Must possess a high level of written and oral communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven strategic planning skills.
- Strong communicator with ability to negotiate, persuade and counsel effectively.
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management as well as with people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project.
Optional Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with SharePoint or similar content management tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
- Experience working on a multi-disciplined team or within a team environment.
