Intapp Risk Consulting Job Description - Director Digital Transformation Business Unit The Risk Consulting practice is part of Intapp’s newly formed Digital Transformation business unit in the Client Services organization. The Digital Transformation business unit lays the groundwork for successful implementation of Intapp technology in professional service firms over the lifecycle of those firms’ relationships with their clients and business engagements. The team delivers program governance, change management, risk operational consulting, and enterprise architecture advice. It drives strategic value by taking an integrated consulting approach across business operations, products, data, resources, and technology. Risk Consulting Practice Intapp’s risk consultants are trusted advisors to the risk community. The practice provides thought leadership for risk management and information governance operations in professional service firms. The team works directly with Intapp’s clients on operational transformations in the mission-critical areas of: Ethical and commercial conflicts resolution for prospective business and lateral hires New business acceptance and on-boarding Management of client and vendor terms of engagement Governance of information barriers Organizational structure of risk resources The risk practice also supports Intapp’s Marketing, Sales, and Product organizations, and liaises with Intapp’s service delivery partners. We are looking for leaders who can participate in a high quality and profitable risk management consulting practice and provide an entree to the highest levels of management in professional service firms – Management | Executive Committees, C-Level Officers, General Counsel, Heads of Risk and Compliance Management teams. Of critical importance is the understanding of and ability to provide leading practice advice for risk-based client | engagement management, specifically multi-jurisdictional regulations and operational protocols for: Client due diligence Anti-money laundering Counter terrorist financing Sanction compliance Responsibilities Description of Responsibilities Consulting Deliver best-in-class risk and information governance consulting services based on expertise, integrity, and reliability that leads to the adoption of and maximizes client success with Intapp products. Offerings include operational assessments and leading practice advice in the areas of risk policy, process, and resources. Consulting Program Development Develop packaged consulting service offerings based on sales | implementation stage, market segmentation, and Intapp product. Develop training programs and collateral for Intapp professionals and partner consultants. Risk Community Support and Marketing Cement Intapp’s position of thought leadership for risk management and information governance in professional service firms by developing and delivering content for community and marketing events: peer forums; speeches and webinars; white papers, blogs, and articles; surveys. Product Sales Support product sales to clear adoption hurdles: Analyze and interpret client requirements Identify clients’ unique drivers for change Educate clients on business problems | solutions addressed by Intapp products Justify value of Intapp products Lead practice presentations Participate in product demonstrations Product Development Provide knowledgeable and pragmatic insight into the development of product strategy and functionality. Participate | lead product-oriented task forces. Partner Channel Support partner success by sharing consulting methodologies, knowledge of successful business processes, and collateral associated with thought leadership. Qualifications and Requirements Legally credentialed and strong risk | compliance reputation in EMEA. 10 years’ work experience in a consulting or management role in Risk | Compliance working within the legal sector Broad experience in the areas of risk | compliance management in professional services organizations, with focus on new business acceptance (including conflicts | independence resolution, and client due diligence), client relationship management, lateral intake, and information governance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; this position involves a significant amount of direct client interaction; ability to travel for in-person meetings. Self-starter with excellent organizational and administrative skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Results-oriented, resourceful, comfortable working under tight deadlines with demanding external and internal and clients.
