ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Planning & Scheduling Analyst will be expected to ensure and maintain excellent employee relations to the standards required by Lake Region Medical, including a variety of job-related tasks, which may not be specific to this position profile. Accountabilities include: Co-ordinate the Planning, Scheduling of Customer Orders (including change requests) while reviewing plant capacity, lead-times and component availability. Ensure all Planning tools for each production area are kept current to optimize machine and labour utilization. Maintain (KPI) 24 hour turnaround on all customer order requests. Maintain inventory control on key components. Print and distribute work orders to all production departments. Review yield (scrap) reports to maintain and adjust for more accurate levels. Identify and assist in resolving bottlenecks, quality problems and other production delays. Ensure all procedures related to the department are adhered to at all times. Coordinate daily with production Supervisors to ensure timely completion of schedule. Effectively assist in planning across all product lines. Calculate and publish production reports (efficiencies, variances etc) to communicate across the organisation. Be an active member of the Integer team, working in cross functional teams at times to develop a world class lean manufacturing site. Ensure the company behavioural standards are adhered to. Other duties as assigned. Partake in any CI (Continuous Improvement) projects as part of companywide cost saving metric. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Good communication skills. Good numeric skills. Excellent attention to detail MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Good knowledge of JDE. Understanding and experience of materials handling.
