About The Role:
Our company is searching for an experienced Senior UX Researcher to work closely with our Product, Technology, and Marketing team.
- Create world-class products and experiences by informing the product vision and translating that into a definition of concrete product design requirements that successfully meet user needs and business goals.
- Ensure the strategic intent of the product is seen to fruition throughout detailed interaction, design, and development phases.
- Gather business requirements, market research, and user needs and distill them into actionable insights.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research using a variety of methods, Derive hypotheses, communicate, test, and constantly iterate.
- Lead your team on a journey of product creation based on these insights.
- Design and communicate effectively through diagrams, sketches, designs, and prototypes.
- Work with leadership to help achieve the company’s goals and improve our ways of working
- Support interdisciplinary teams from initial sketches and prototypes through final design.
- Mentor the junior members of the team.
- Facilitate workshops with c-suite stakeholders.
- Drive yourself and your team to create the best, well-crafted product.
- 5 years of experience working at leading digital agencies or brands.
- Ensuring the experience comes to life through documentation and collaboration with designers and developers.
- Portfolio of complex, digital experiences for global brands across mobile, tablet, and web channels, such as large CMS sites, e-commerce, apps, etc. Highlight your contribution to each project, and what makes the solution you devised innovative.
- Experience in working as part of startup businesses with strong organizational skills.
- The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision (not just 'how it should look' but 'what we should build’ and ‘why we should build it’).
- Have a bias for action in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Excellent communication skills: being able to explain design rationale, align and persuade stakeholders, and drive conversations.
- A solid understanding of all the other disciplines needed to create a brilliant product, such as business, technology, delivery, marketing, and content.
- Experience creating a digital and content strategy, in partnership with user testing and research studies.
- Proficiency in Figma and data analytics required, experience with FullStory, Amplitude, and Shopify a plus.
