Job Summary: This position is responsible for planning, coordinating and evaluating nutrition and dietary needs of consumers enrolled in the Chronic Disease Management program and working with CDM staff to facilitate/coordinate meeting consumer identified needs through individual/group consultations, classes and referral. This position works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
If acting in a lead capacity, responsible for service delivery, oversight, and development of center's nutrition services.
Education:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or relevant field.
Licenses:
Required:
- Current and valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Licensed in the state of Texas as a Registered Dietitian (RD).
Experience:
Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a RD providing nutritional services in an inpatient/outpatient, one-on-one or group education setting.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese.
Hours: Full-Time; Monday - Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
Salary: $60,055 annually.
