The Information Security Specialist assists the establishment of procedures and implementation of requirements to archive program information upon program completion and closeout. for the Office of Secretary Defense, Special Capabilities Office (OSD/SCO).
- Ensure industry oversight authority (DIA and DCSA) inspection results, upon receipt by SCO, are tracked and communicated to the PSO and PSR for risk assessment to programs, and tracking of remediation efforts.
- Establish, from the ground up, a comprehensive InT program that meets compliance requirements contained in Executive Orders, national policy, and DoD policy subject to compliance inspections by the National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF) and the office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (OUSD(I&S)).
- Collaborate with the SCO CIO to establish baseline user activity, monitoring behaviors, triggers, and anomalous behavior indicators.
- Correlate, analyze, and organize various data streams, triggers, and anomalous behaviors in order to provide the SCO InT hub with InT baselines, items of interest, and focus issues.
- Coordinate, implement, and oversee the proper execution of user activity monitoring tools, monthly audits of removable media, and USCYBERCOM required actions, as well as Key Information Security System Indicators.
Required:
- Bachelors' Degree with 10 years' experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting classified operating environments.
- Relevant experience includes basic information security requirements for collateral, SCI, and SAP information, personnel security processes and databases, and document control.
