Overview
Integral is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to provide Contract Management & Administration support including recommendations regarding direction in the formation of contracts, resolution of contract-related issues, and ongoing contract negotiation and contract management for Customs and Border Patrol programs.
This position is currently 100% remote! (Potential for as-needed travel to Ashburn, VA).
Responsibilities
The duties related to this task include, but are not limited to:
- Administering contracts by assuring compliance with the terms and conditions of contracts, including resolution of problems concerning the obligations of the parties.
- Terminating contracts by analyzing, negotiating, and settling claims and proposals.
- Analyzing and evaluating cost or price proposals and accounting systems data.
- Planning, establishing, or reviewing contracts, programs, policies, or procedures; and
- Developing acquisition strategies and directing or managing procurements.
- Utilizing Federal Procurement Data System Next Generation (FPDS-NG) for creating Contract Action Reports (CAR).
- Receipt and distribution of proposals to Business Managers and sub-COR.
- Assist in the preparation of Task Orders (TOs), Delivery Orders (Dos), and/or Purchase Orders (POs).
- Assist in the preparation of modifications to TOs, DOs, and/or PO.
- Review contractor notifications and requests for consent to subcontract.
- Assist in the monitoring and tracking of invoice payment schedules.
- Maintaining TO/DO/PO databases for modifications and award fees.
- Monitor, track and maintain pertinent contract files and correspondence.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor’s degree, typically in a relevant field such as business administration, accounting, computer science and at least 10 years of experience with:
- developing contract line-item number (CLINs) or Sub-CLINS.
- coordination of Congressional Notification (CN) prior to award.
- coordination reviews (i.e., Office of Chief Counsel (OCC).
- contract writing systems (i.e., PRISM, PD2 or PPS).
- contract terminations, funding modifications, de-obligations.
- DAWIA Level III or FAC-C Level III certification
- Knowledge of contract types.
- Experience with contract file documentation (i.e., Business Memo, Price Negotiation Memo, Letters of Intent to exercise options).
- Experience with or understanding the contract Accounting and Appropriation Data and type funds.
Preferred
- Contract lifecycle management software experience
- PMP Certification or CMMI
