Industrial Systems IT Programmer

An established industrial integrator in one of the fastest growing industrial markets in the country. In search of an Industrial Systems IT Programmer. We have an opportunity for someone who can immediately provide expertise with the design, programming and implementation of industrial control systems. This is a “roll up your sleeves” position. You’ll be working with experienced leaders to help you get it done. Our client provides an exciting and fast paced environment. There’s always something new to learn. Essential Qualifications & Expertise:

• Computer Languages/Technologies: Python, Java, HTML, C , Visual Basic
• General computer & software expertise: SQL, Windows, Linux, Microsoft Office Suites
• Proficiency with the programming of PLC’s (programmable logic controllers) and HMI’s (human machine interfaces/operator screens).
• Experience with the design and development of manufacturing control systems and special projects.
• Knowledge of SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) systems.
• Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Technology.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Integration of data and information gathered from the factory floor into plant IT systems
• Communication & transfers to/from databases
• Computer networking configurations & setups in and industrial environment
