Technical Support Analyst

Essential Job Functions: The candidate will support the development, maintenance, and management of records keeping
systems. This administrative and technical support includes, but is not limited to:

• Blue Folder electronic document routing system administrative and technical support:

Populating the system with the documentation for routing; establishing the appropriate
routing sequence and distribution; troubleshooting issues for users; ensuring signatures are
applied to documents as appropriate; and maintaining historical records of completed and
final documentation.

• Acquisition Data Analytics Platform Tool (ADAPT) data management: Populating ADAPT

with historical decisional data from ARB briefings, ADMs, and other archival records to
ensure availability of comprehensive data to end users.

• Acquisition Program Health Assessment (APHA) administrative and technical support:

Timely customer support, such as updating profile settings and permissions, and
troubleshooting issues for users; and assisting with APHA report generation.

The candidate will support data collection and analysis efforts in response to internal and
external data calls and taskers. This support includes, but is not limited to:

• Tracking and displaying metrics, such as ADM action item progress and status, Acquisition

Program Baseline milestone achievement, and breach frequency and duration.

• Utilizing ADAPT in support of these tasks and identifying gaps or areas for improvement in

the tool.

• Conducting research related to taskers from Congress, GAO, and OIG.

• Monitoring Congressional activity to remain informed of forthcoming decisions, legislation,

and/or tasks and notifying leadership of potential impacts to DHS and its acquisition portfolio.

Skills:

Possess advanced understanding of the FAR and how to efficiently research subjects in relation to complex acquisitions
Have strong interpersonal skills (oral and written) to clearly and concisely communicate more advanced contract issues in an effective manner with acquisition teams
Familiarity with DHS acquisition policies and procedures a plus
Proficiency with recent versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint required, Microsoft Project and SharePoint strongly desired

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.
Minimum Education/ Experience Bachelor's plus Technical Support Analyst have a minimum of five (5) years of experience providing analytical support and data management
