What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Integrated Water Services, Inc.?
Integrated Water Services is seeking construction workers for projects in the New Mexico and surrounding area. If you are willing to travel for other projects and interested in development, we have some very good opportunities and we provide lodging and per diems. We’re hiring on a per project basis to start, but are willing to consider full-time employment for the right prospects in the future. We are looking for Construction laborers with on-site experience but are also willing to provide safe and educational training for individuals with minimal prior experience.
This position will include the following responsibilities:
- Perform all duties assigned by the Project Manager or Superintendent as needed
- Prepare construction site each day by preparing materials, tools and equipment
- Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
- Consult Superintendents and Project Managers on construction plans
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to pass drug and background screening
- High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to work outside, be on your feet for 8-10 each day (with required breaks)
- Two years previous experience in construction preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
Compensation will vary based on experience. This role will be hourly and pay from $17-20/hr and eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits. It will also be eligible for 401k (immediate participation, vesting, and company match (100% first 3%, and 50% the next 2% above that).
