Job Responsibilities:
This is a home health position for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). The PTA is responsible for following the Plan of Care and implementing interventions based on the POC and goals. PTA will be responsible for maintaining contact with the supervisors while coordinating care between patient and POC. The PTA will manage their own schedule and drive to patients throughout the day. This job is very autonomous, perfect for those who don’t enjoy being kept working in a facility all day.
We are currently looking for a HOME HEALTH PTA comfortable working with GERIATRIC patients.
Locations : Palmetto and surrounding areas
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
- Current Florida State License as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current Florida Driver’s License, registration, and auto insurance.
- Current CPR, physical and PPD
- Preferred experience as an Physical Therapy Assistant in home health.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
