Talent Acquisition Manager
Portsmouth, VA
Summary: Leads the design and implementation of programs that aim to attract, measure, develop and manage an organization's talent pool.
Essential Job Functions:
Manages the day to day operation of the Recruiting staff while ensuring there is a high level of customer service to all HR customers.
Manages and implements marketing, recruiting, sourcing candidates, selecting/hiring and on-boarding the right talent to fill the open positions that meet Illinois Gaming Board requirements and the property’s current staffing and retention needs.
Plans and focuses on the integration of future staffing needs, including managing the entire life-cycle recruitment process including initial assessment, interview guide development, interviews and job offers.
Manages the gaming license process from offer to approval to include working closely with the onsite Illinois Gaming Board representatives.
Initiates, facilitates, and maintains training programs to ensure that Team Members are properly prepared for their roles and continue development.
Evaluate success/failure of training sessions and preparation of Team Members.
Responsible for processing, coding and submitting department invoices.
Work with departments to proactively seek out potential management candidates to fill open positions based on the need of the department.
Responsible for managing subordinates (hiring, developing, separating when necessary)
Establish and work with a departmental budget.
Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Four (4) year degree in Human Resource Management or related field and/or related experience. An Organizational Development degree a plus.
Three (3) to five (5) years previous HR management experience specifically in training and/or recruitment.
Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner.
Excellent computer skills in all Google Suite applications, Microsoft applications, AS 400 and knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of all applicable employment, EEOC and other laws that pertain to the Human Resource function.
Ability to communicate with Team Members and guests.
Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process to include obtaining and maintaining necessary licensing.
Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
