What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asset Manager position at Intel?
Come join Intel’s IVE team! We are seeking an Asset Manager to plan and manage both programs and projects that are directly tied to the development, implementation or upgrade of technology or products for external customers.
As an Asset Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provides leadership for the project team and key interfaces to the project or program.
Works on problems/tasks in delivery of a specific product or service.
Identify tasks, determine dependencies, identify and assign specific resources, communicate expectations to team members, obtain task effort and duration estimates from team members, and create/track the project schedule.
Assess risk and identify issues.
Monitor progress against schedule.
Coordinate resources with other functions.
Review user and technical requirements for completeness and clarity.
Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work.
Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills
Possess superior technical aptitude and exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
Must be able to communicate with multiple vertical teams
Be able to coordinate and prioritize incoming and outgoing equipment
Answer validation teams questions about availability, reuse, and status of equipment
Work with Long Term Retention to ensure requirements met.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 1 years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field:
Plan and manage programs and projects
Inventory control
Asset management
Process improvement
Procurement
Troubleshooting and analytical skills
MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel
Identify important data sets and generate reports using business software including creating multi part queries or reports
ISMP, Checkbook, Prognos
Systems of Record for asset tracking and financial systems
