The enterprise DnA data architect will be part of the Data Architecture team of the recently established enterprise data and analytics architecture and governance organization. This organization has a significant cross-Intel impact and focuses on providing a data advantage to Intel from data strategy and governance to execution and improving business outcomes.
This position needs strong data architecture innovation and execution mindset and needs to be recognized as a trustworthy advisor in their domain expertise and responsibility by technologists and principal engineers across multiple organizations, and respected by peers in both business and IT.
The position has a strong player role i.e., significant individual contribution scope, and collaborate with high performing enterprise data domain architects to deliver connected and assured data assets at Intel.
Responsibilities:
Lead and drive all aspects of DnA architecture for one or more domains areas under supply chain, product engineering, sales and marketing, manufacturing, finance, legal, etc.
Develop mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and architecture, with the goal of ensuring data quality.
Collaborate with project leads and advisors and business unit leaders for all projects involving enterprise data and analytics.
Create and maintain data model and metadata policies and procedures for functional design
Provide technical recommendations and engage with ETL and BI Architects
Translate business requirements into data models and meta data, test data, and data quality standards
Develop data models to support data analysis and reporting
Recommend architectural decisions to business needs
Align business and technology strategies through the creation and maintenance of a data architecture and roadmap.
Mentor and educate more junior data architecture team members.
In addition, the ideal candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits:
Self-starter with strong business acumen who understands organizational issues and challenges.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical BE in Computer Science/Engineering, or Technical MBA or MS Computer Science/Engineering, with focus on data and analytics preferred
Proven 7 years of experience in data and analytics architecture, and data lake/data warehousing
Expert in Data Analysis, Data Modelling (ERD), Master Data Management patterns and implementation, Data Landscape Design (Data Flow, Mastership, API).
Extensive understanding of SAP transactional data and HANA databases.
Experience in Data Modelling tools such as ER Studio
Experience with Cloud Architecture (Azure) Databases (RDBMS, NOSQL, Data-vault, ODS) and Cloud DW (Snowflake, Redshift)
Deep knowledge of data schema such as star schemas, relational and data vault structures.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
3 years experience coding with SQL
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Supply Chain and Finance domains is preferred.
Hands-on experience with data modeling
Excellent working knowledge of data governance solutions such as metadata management, data cataloging solutions, data integration, data quality, master, and reference data management

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $118,860.00-$196,720.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
