What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Demand Analyst position at Intel?
The IOTG (Internet of Things Group) Supply Demand Business Operations analyst is responsible for managing IOTG shared and owned product Supply and Demand processes, as well as supporting IOTG business operations.
In this role you will be responsible for monthly bottoms up product forecasting based on historical data and GEO/customer data which drives Intel's Factory Build plans and revenue targets for IOTG. This role will drive resolution of supply issues for internal/external supply chains for both owned and shared products resulting in solutions that best support customers, and IOTG PnL/revenue.
The analyst needs to effectively influence and drive solutions to product or process problems with multiple stakeholders such as BMG Business Operations, QnR, Product Engineering, Marketing, Factory management, Finance, and Division Planning, while evaluating the impact to the IOTG PnL and customers. The analyst is also responsible for recommending factory strategic build-aheads (SBA), product transfer roadmaps, product scrap timing and/or IRC disposition of excess inventory, product end-of-life timing, and customer change notifications. Additionally, there are opportunities to drive process improvement on demand forecasting, supply processes, and shared processes with BMG business operations.

Qualifications
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors and/or graduate degree in Finance/Business/Marketing, Math, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Statistics, Decision Sciences, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
1 years of experience in research design and associated analysis methods and have strong aptitude for synthesizing information with an understanding of structured data analysis/modeling
