Key Functions
- Handle sales accounting and accounts receivable tasks.
- Process weekly plant payrolls and back up General/Operations Accountant.
- Sales Accounting: Invoice processing, sales reporting, commission calculations, A/R monitoring, and reconciliations.
- Payroll: Weekly processing, journal entries, managing deductions, and union contributions.
- Month-End Close: Journal entries, reconciling accounts.
- Accounts Payable: Documentation and processing.
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
- 3-5 years accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Able to meet deadlines and work independently.
- Team player with professional standards.
- Sage 500 experience.
- Background in manufacturing.
- Knowledge of cost accounting.
