Component Designer (SUT)

Duncan, SC (Onsite)

Contract


Key Responsibilities:

New Component Introduction:

  • Create 2D/3D CAD images.
  • Approve joint tests for component connections.
  • Advise on material status.


New Product Introduction (NPI):

  • Develop and release drawings for new products.
  • Collaborate with sales on customer-specific drawings.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) guidelines.


Quality & Continuous Improvement:

  • Improve Design Engineering SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues.
  • Enhance documentation and reduce assembly errors.
  • Support CAD software development and validation.


Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • ERP systems knowledge (SAP preferred).
  • Proficient in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor/SolidWorks).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Manufacturing experience.
