Position : QA / QC Data Review Specialist
Location : Albany, NY
Overview :
We are seeking experienced professionals to join our QA team, which primarily supports the QC laboratory. This team is responsible for monitoring the data integrity of QC test data on a randomized sampling basis.
The ideal candidates will have a strong QC background with a comprehensive understanding of QA principles, data integrity, and the science behind the assays they review.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct QC and QA data reviews , focusing on data integrity.
- Monitor the data integrity of QC test data through randomized sampling.
- Review laboratory test records to ensure accuracy, identify areas for correction or improvement, and confirm no deviations occurred.
- Ensure final reporting results are accurate and compliant with respective standards.
- Perform audit trail reviews and ensure compliance with GxP and Alcoa principles.
Qualifications :
- QC Test Background : Extensive experience with a variety of QC tests and assays.
- Scientific Understanding : In-depth knowledge of the science behind assays, including instrumentation experience. Empower experience is highly desirable.
- Data Integrity : Experience with data integrity and compliance, including familiarity with Alcoa principles.
- Data Review : Proven background in data review, particularly from a QC perspective, with a quality mindset.
- Compliance : Knowledge of GxP regulations, data integrity (DI), and audit trail reviews.
Ideal Candidate :
- Comes from a QC background and has significant experience in data review.
- Possesses strong technical skills to understand and evaluate scientific data.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Has experience with Empower software, which is a crucial requirement for this role.
