Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for growing awareness of ITI’s services and solution offerings, and closing new business, within the motor vehicle government industry (DMVs), within their assigned territory. Success in this position requires creating relationships in the industry, an understanding and keen awareness of the direction and challenges of jurisdictions, thorough knowledge of the services they provide, and a deep understanding of ITI solutions and services, as they relate to the jurisdictions needs. With the end goal being to execute a new contract, a contract amendment, or win a bid.

In addition, the RSM will provide insight into current and future objectives of the jurisdictions in their territory and put ITI in the best position for success. The RSM will take a holistic approach to each jurisdiction, including contributing to increased transaction volumes of ITI’s current solution within the jurisdiction, and maintaining superior customer satisfaction. They will also serve as a customer relationship source, offering to assist with challenging customer situations and providing insight into the personnel and politics of the jurisdictions.

Roles and Responsibility:

  • Demonstrate the cutting-edge technology and financial savings that ITI can provide to current clients and prospects.
  • Help grow ITI by creating new relationships and maintaining relationships with DMV decision-makers and staff.
  • Help grow the usage/transactions of solutions currently implemented in the jurisdiction (i.e., kiosks and online knowledge testing).
  • Promotion and education of ITI solutions to the industry.
  • Apply a consultative selling process which consists of working with jurisdictions on issuing a new or amended contract to offer our solution(s).
  • Remain current on the initiatives and happenings of the DMVs in their territory.
  • Research multiple channels to grow ITI’s footprint in the industry, whether it is on a state or county government level, private industry partners, and/or correctional industries.

Qualification and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of experience in government sales or with ITI’s products.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present ITI’s solution confidently and clearly to entities in our industry (state and county DMV agents and correctional industries).
  • The ability to think quickly and draw a picture to clients and potential clients, of how ITI’s solution can help meet their needs and their citizens’ needs.
  • Knowledge on all ITI solutions.
  • Strong writing skills for responding to government bid request.
  • Ability to quickly understand ITI as a business and our presence in our industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with ITI staff (Management and Executive level).
  • Self-motivated to work with multiple entities to achieve new sales.
