About Smash House Gourmet : Established with the goal of becoming the unrivaled destination for gourmet burgers, hot dogs, and bold flavors, our culinary journey is led by a three-time best burger award winner and fueled by fourth-generation recipes. Join our team and help this vision come to life! Overview: We are seeking a Cashier/Expo to join our hospitality team. This person will work in our shipping container restaurant on site at the NEW Railyard in Fenton, Michigan.
Responsibilities:
-Work with the Cooks who are operating the grill and other kitchen utensils safely and efficiently
-Maintain a clean and organized area
-Taking orders while using a POS system and money handling
-Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases if needed
-Giving the Cook the order to start
-As the Expo person you are responsible for "building the plate"
-Calling out the customer's name/order number for retrieval -Restocking and replenishing
-Ability in a quick turn around time with customer orders while maintaining quality of the menu Requirements:
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Excellent food and safety handling
-Knowledge in food prepping
-Comfortable in Customer Service skills
$15/hr plus tips
Part time and full time available!
