IntelliTrans, (ITL), a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) is seeking a Data Science Manager to join our team hybrid/remote in Atlanta, GA or Conway, Arkansas.
IntelliTrans is looking for a leader who will drive the data science strategy to support our growth now and in the future. The ideal candidate will have experience with developing and managing a data science team within a product company with capability of bringing clear understanding of what the business goal behind the project is and anchoring the team’s work in the context of the broader organizational strategy. They will work with business stakeholders across the company and support the creation of a data science competency.
In this role you will support the analytic, insights, reporting, data, and automation needs of our organization. You will solve challenging problems using Customer, Product, Operational, and Transactional data to derive actionable insights and communicate them to business leaders in a clear and concise manner.
What You'll Do:
- Drive overall model development life cycle from Ideation to Production
- Utilizing your intellectual curiosity, partner with Product, Operations, and Commercial organization(s) to help identify the opportunities for AI/ML solutions opportunities leveraging company data and drive business
- Educate the organization on how to leverage AI/ML to produce better
- Mature our data science practice with continuous learning and knowledge
- Lead the way in working on advanced analytics projects and predictive models.
- Hire, manage, grow and retain a high-performance team that can meet both present and future needs by identifying and leveraging AI/ML
- Work with the Product team to establish proper standards and processes for product- level deliverables from the data science team with respect to product architecture, maintainability, testability, SOC compliance, and
- Monitor and assess work output of the team in terms of precision, quality, and quantity and develop plans to optimize individual and team output while complying with defined standards and processes.
- Establish strong partnerships with stakeholders to shape the vision AI/ML within IntelliTrans, whether that is by helping determine a product strategy or define new metrics.
- Design and implement MLOps framework to build scalable infrastructure for supporting and maintaining ML models
- Research and stay abreast of new technologies and industry Incorporate new ideas that are well suited to advance the goals of IntelliTrans.
- Partner with Senior Leadership to align on Roadmap and deliverables in order to deploy ML models to the production.
What You'll Bring:
- MS in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or similar quantitative discipline required.
- 5 years of experience in data science roles
- Hands on knowledge of some of the most advanced methods in machine learning, data mining, statistics, optimization, classification, forecasting and/or
- Advanced working SQL proficiency and experience, knowledge of relational database structures, and query authoring competencies, including use of CTEs and subqueries, and building tables and views.
- Advanced understanding of database design and ETL practices
- Great communication skills including communicating complex concepts to business
- Possess a drive to learn and master new technologies and
