- Administering nursing care in post-acute residences \n
- Interviewing and documenting residents' medical history and health concerns \n
- Verifying, administering, and monitoring medications \n
- Checking residents' vital signs, monitoring physical and mental conditions \n
- Providing for the comfort and safety of residents \n
- Checking residents' charts and medical records as needed \n
- Providing a supporting role in staff training and orientation \n
- Assisting with phlebotomy, IV set up, and immunizations \n
- Making sure medical equipment is properly stocked and maintained

- Current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) \n
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent \n
- Graduation from an approved LPN educational program \n
- At least 4 months' experience in post-acute care or in-patient hospital settings \n
