Pitt Plastics is seeking it's next maintenace team member!
Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen.
A Maintenance Technician will be required to perform a wide range of repair and preventative maintenace tasks.
Hours 7 : 30am-7 : 30pm
3 days work, 3 days off. 2 days work, 2 days off

Responsibilities / Duties
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance tasks on all types of production equipment.Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
Record repairs and maintenance performed.Daily communication with Maintenance Supervisor for assignments
Required Skills
ob Specific Skills :
- Successful completion of forklift and electric pallet jack certification and training.
- Attend annual training and practice of Lock Out / Tag Out procedures
- Must possess basic plumbing skills
- Requires basic working knowledge of power hand toolsDrillsSawsCutting tools
- Good verbal communication skills
Required Experience
Experience and Education :
- Successful candidates should possess three (3) or more years of industrial maintenance experience. Knowledge and experience in PLC, electrical, and plastics film are a plus.
A background in the plastics industry will also be helpful.
Required Qualifications
Vision (Near, Distance, Peripheral, Depth Perception)
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Steel Toed Shoes,Ear Plugs, and Safety Glasses)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate excessive heat during summer months
