Job Description
As a Global Category Leader – Facilities and Travel, you will report to Director – IT Procurement and Vendor Management. This individual will be the trusted advisor to IBG executives and lead cross-functional teams through the complex strategic sourcing initiatives, risk assessment, onboarding, contract negotiations, performance management and offboarding of suppliers for facilities and travel category.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for Facilities and Travel category.
Manage RFx/Value Analysis/cost modeling and complex negotiations, market research, benchmarking, deal recommendations for executive review and vendor performance tracking.
Able to control all aspects of commercial negotiations.
Expert in category management and contract negotiations.
Manage supplier lifecycle and drive cost reduction, improve customer satisfaction, and maximizing business value.
Support IBG responsible sourcing goals and continually improve category effectiveness and supply base.
Facilitate Risk Assessment and Due Diligence for new suppliers and ongoing monitoring of incumbent suppliers.
Provide mentorship to junior resource and/or support team.
Track implementation of agreements and ongoing monitoring of contract KPIs.
Utilize the standard contract templates if available or be able to work with IB Legal to draft such templates.
Maintain a strong partnership with IB stakeholders, suppliers to achieve greater results.
Keep a project pipeline for active projects and track cost savings and avoidances.
Qualification:
Bachelor' s degree required with a degree in Finance, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management, preferred.
5 years of experience managing Facilities and Travel category procurement.
Demonstrated category management expertise in Facilities and Travel.
Ability to effectively manage large, complex, strategic projects with aggressive milestones, significant risk components and multi-million annual value.
Experience using a structured strategic sourcing process.
Strong organizational awareness, and ability to plan and make decisions using sound judgment.
Excellent written and verbal communications.
Proactive and collaborative approach delivering superior internal client engagement.
Strong analysis and problem-solving capabilities (i.e. analyze spend data and translate into actionable sourcing strategies).
