Duties and responsibilities of the uniform attendant Monday to Friday 8-4:30

• The Uniform Attendant is in charge of taking measures for the new workers, to give them uniforms according to their function and working days.
• Check if uniforms are available in our storage to be labeled with the name of the new worker, or if a new uniform needs to be ordered.
• Place an order for new uniforms through the approval of the department manager and the finance manager through the Cintas web portal; taking into account shipping times and inventory availability.
• Receive, classify and organize uniforms for staff according to department specifications.
• keep weekly track of the schedules published by each department, to keep track of the workers and the days they attend.
• Keep an overall track of the "employee list," placing their name, function, size, and number of uniforms available to each person.
• Inspect uniforms for damage and remove substandard uniforms and look for replacements.
• Separate and check each uniform to make sure that is not stained or broken so that it can be washed, dried, hung, and steamed every day.
• Keep a record of the uniforms assigned, taking into account the measurements and the number of uniforms that are distributed.
• Arrange daily uniforms (full set) washed and iron by name, and placed them on z-rack outside the uniform room for employees working that day.
• Make alterations if the uniform requires adjustments (from the waist, inseam, zippers) and button placement
• Communicate with each department manager and with Human Resources to verify the status of each worker.
• Check with the manager of Cintas Rentals that the uniforms of the cooks who are washed weekly outside the hotel arrive and come clean, as well as order uniforms for new workers or cancel uniforms of workers who no longer work in the hotel.
• Check the bill for the uniforms of the cooks, check how many uniforms they wear and how many Cintas Rentals leaves, and pass this bill to the kitchen manager.
• Check with Cintas Rentals the inventory of terry towels and aprons for the kitchen, talk to the kitchen manager, and if it is necessary upgrade the number of garments delivered.
• Keep tracking the number of uniforms for the culinary people to make sure all of them have a clean uniform for all week.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
