Responsibilities:
Process & Planning
- Collaborate with staff to integrate data management applications with existing systems and processes.
- In conjunction with Director of Data Governance, develop data models and protocols.
- Maintain testing processes for modifications to data models.
- Develop data management procedures to ensure data quality.
- Identify and address root causes of data quality issues, problem solve using data analysis and communicate the results to various team members.
- Perform migration and conversion of data as needed in support of analysis efforts.
- Devise, develop, and deploy data reports and dashboards in response to user needs.
- Monitor data management system details, including flows and formulas and suggest efficiency improvements.
- Perform routine data cleaning and data updates.
Training and Administrative
- Train staff on quality assurance best practices for data analysis services across the organization.
- Develop user training manuals to facilitate best-practice use of data management tools.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Data Governance:
- Manage email communications and scheduling
- Administrative support for data governance meetings
- Prepare and/or copyedit materials for internal and external use (e.g., training resources, PowerPoint presentations, magazine articles)
- Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Understanding of data models, structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Familiarity with data preparation, processing, classification, and forecasting
- 3-5 years of experience with data management techniques
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Involvement in inter-departmental projects and experience communicating with various stakeholders
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple ongoing projects from multiple stakeholders
- Collaborative nature; flexibility and agility in problem-solving
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong competence in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); willing to learn and utilize organization-wide constituent relationship management software (Salesforce)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- High level of religious literacy and fluency in diversity, pluralism, and inclusion
- 5 years of data experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau

Supervisor: Director of Data Governance
Leadership Level: Manager
Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000
Hours: 40 hours per week, 9am – 5pm CST
Location: This position will work 2-3 days per week from our Chicago Loop office and 2-3 days per week from home
