JOB PURPOSE
Interior Solutions is looking for a sales manager who will manage, motivate, and drive the sales organization in branch. Must be a decisive and strong leader, and will be responsible for developing and executing growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve ambitious growth and profit. Is responsible for hiring, training and developing the sales team and those in sales support that interact with customers. The sales manager will deliver results through having a hands-on, inclusive and collaborative management style which will engender an open and honest culture in which all are respected and encouraged to make decisions.
Employee will be accountable to set aggressive targets and motivate the team while also bringing in significant personal sales. Networking and maintaining key relationships with lead sources is a vital function of the sales manager.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

- Collaborate with the company’s senior leadership to define corporate strategy and lead high impact initiatives to fuel new growth areas.
- Manage sales function: lead in establishing the long-range strategic, tactical, and implementation plans required to identify, qualify, and capture new sales opportunities.
- Develop and continually manage a robust growth pipeline by aggressively shaping, identifying, qualifying and pursuing strategically relevant business opportunities.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
- Evaluate growth opportunities in the market identified by customer needs and market trends; assess business options to address those needs, and make recommendations to Senior Leadership
- Mentor and develop a skilled and dedicated sales team
- Day to day sales team management including recruitment, training, motivation, support, development and evaluation
- Aggressively forge and manage profitable relationships with clients, potential clients, industry experts, local and state government entities, manufacturers, vendors, etc., to ensure sales efforts are focused on gaining share/expansion, improving profits and meet the specific needs of customers to foster and continue sustainable growth.
- Lead efforts to improve work processes and build customer partnerships to meet or exceed customer expectations and increase competitive loyalty.
- Coordinate with teams across our organization to create focus and drive results.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service
- Gather and review operational records and reports in order to project sales accurately and determine profitability.
- Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
- Serve as a liaison between the Sales, Design, Project Management and Installation teams to ensue clients’ needs are met.
