Based in our Camp Hill showroom, the furniture handler is a safety-sensitive general laborer position. In addition to moving furniture to assist the delivery, transfer and merchandising teams, the furniture handler is responsible for packing and unpacking goods, performing minor repairs, showroom and facilities maintenance and upkeep, hanging wall art and mirrors, assisting customers with pick-ups, and so on. The ideal candidate enjoys a variety of hands-on tasks and interaction with people.
The successful candidate will also bring to the position:
- A desire to help and serve others;
- Proficiency with basic hand tools;
- Ability to accurately read a measurement tape or ruler;
- Ability to lift 75 lbs alone, and up to 150 lbs with another person.
