International Aerospace Coatings (IAC) is the world’s leading aviation specialist painting company. We work with international airlines, private operators, and aviation leasing companies across the globe to provide tailor made aircraft painting, interior refurbishment and graphic solutions that ensure regulatory compliance globally.
This is an exciting 26-week paid training program where you will learn the skills to become an apprentice aircraft painter. The program will consist of a mix of classroom and hands on training. You don’t need any experience just a willingness to work hard and learn the process.

Aircraft you will work on:
United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Air Canada, and many more
What you will do:
Throughout the training course you will learn how to:
- Work safely around aircraft.
- Perform industry leading methods of preparing aircraft for painting in accordance with FAA regulations including masking, surface preparation, chemical stripping, surface cleaning.
- Mix and apply paint and coatings applications using electro-static and HVLP equipment
- Apply of livery masks in accordance with engineering designs
- Safely operate machinery around aircraft
- Safely and correctly use and dispose of chemical and materials in accordance with state regulations
