The IDC Human Resources team is seeking a confident and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to partner and consult with senior leaders across the Research and Product Management and Marketing teams in such areas as recruitment, compensation planning, employee relations, performance management and organizational design and development. This position is a full-time role located at IDC headquarters in Framingham MA.
Responsibilities
The HR Business Partner will report to the CHRO and will direct all aspects of HR initiatives for their client base. They will build internal business partnerships, provide developmental coaching to all levels of the organization and offer creative solutions to business issues. They will learn the research business and understand the goals and challenges in order to translate business objectives into the appropriate HR actions and initiatives including:
- Independently recruit for open positions in their client base, including strategic sourcing and hiring of top talent
- Managing and facilitate resolution of employee relation matters
- Coach managers through performance management process and performance improvement plans
- Consult on Compensation Planning
- Manage reorganizations and organizational development
- Collaborate with other HR team members on HR related programs and practices
- Act as an agent for change
Qualifications
- This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6-10 years of proven HR generalist experience.
- Knowledge of technology/consulting services, market research related environments is a plus.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and able to interact with employees across all levels of the organization.
- Recruiting experience and the ability to develop creative solutions and facilitate resolutions in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Must be a team player and possess a great sense of humor and collaborative attitude
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail is required.
- Experience as a trusted partner to senior leaders is desired.
- Must have strong building relationship skills and ability to travel from time to time.
- Must be technically proficiency with Office 365 and have experience using an ATS and associated HR databases. Ultimate software and iCIMS experience is a bonus.
