The Job You Will Perform:
Market-Based Value Creation (MBVC) means making better business decisions by taking an evidence-based view of the dynamics among market participants, within the context of where you intend to compete. In this role, a Strategic Marketing Analyst (MBVC Partner) will implement the MBVC methodology working with multifunctional groups within the company to build market understanding and then translate those views into company initiatives and strategic actions.
This role is responsible for but not limited to the following:
Project Management/Facilitation on designated work streams:
(Project management/facilitation will most likely be the main part of the workload)
- Participate and lead assigned projects – working closely with functional leaders to define project goals and execution plans.
- Facilitate sessions to reduce bias, think differently, and solve strategic problems while implementing the MBVC methodology.
- Identify MBVC teams’ and business’ resource needs, working with MBVC Manager / Champion to obtain.
- Drive cadence timelines and ensure projects meet goals.
- Provide strategic, tactical, and analytical support on work streams.
Deepen the organizations’ understanding and utilization of MBVC concepts and tools:
- Develop training material to educate the organization on MBVC tools and concepts.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops as planned and ad hoc.
- Help embed MBVC further into the organization.
Inventory and Track the value of the MBVC work
- Keep an up-to-date inventory of work streams.
- Track milestones and demonstrate project status.
- Follow up with team and business leaders to ensure project goal execution.
- Provide monthly reporting projects’ status.
- Participate in preparing strategic presentations as needed.
