What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Operator position at International Sound Corporation?
International Sound Corporation is currently hiring several local Video Operators for the production of a live television broadcast show for a Thoroughbred Racetrack Laurel, Maryland. The candidate should have the ability to operate Video Production equipment including a Digital Video Recorder, a Windows based Caracter Generator, a Robotic Camera Controller, and other control room equipment. The candidate will be required to take direction from the Technical Director, working alongside in the TV control room. The positions are part time and year round. Additional work shifts will be offered from another Thoroughbred racetrack located in Baltimore, Maryland. Work hours will generally be from 11:30 AM until 5:30 PM on a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday basis. Additional racing days will be added on select Thursday's and holiday Monday's throughout the year. The starting rate of pay for the positions will range from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience. The candidate must obtain an occupational license with the Maryland Racing Commission on the grounds of the racetrack prior to starting the job.
