Overview
The overall responsibility of this role is to provide leadership for the branch ICs, employees and house staff. Ensure that necessary support is available to the advisors in all areas to maximize their success, create a sense of community, promote diversity and inclusion, and contribute to company growth. Oversee the profitability and day to day operations of the office.

Responsibilities
General Office Duties:
- Manage overall expenses and maximize profitability.
- Maintain a safe, clean and respectful work environment.
- Maintain functionality of office equipment.
- Monitor and manage general office supplies.
- Have full understanding of GTC policies and procedures.
- Create sense of community and an environment that supports diversity and inclusion.
- Schedule and manage vendor visits.
- Coordinate and oversee office reopening and ensure safe office practices.
Support for Independent Travel Advisors:
- Establish strong rapport to maximize retention.
- Provide overall triage support, guide and direct IC to appropriate support team, and initiate training as needed.
- Review annual IC goals.
- Monitor ongoing training and professional development.
- Recommend training and professional development programs that will enhance and advance IC’s business plan.
- Provide monthly and quarterly check in
- Explore opportunities to increase individual IC revenue through greater use of preferred supplier partners and tools
- Encourage and monitor participation in Marketing programs to increase business growth (including but not limited to SOAR/FLY/Agent Profiles/ Virtuoso Marketing, etc).
- Identify and track “at risk” advisors and suggest remedies for same.
- Discover and work to eliminate pain points impeding advisor’s success.
- Suggest new processes, procedures, tools, etc., to increase IC and company efficiency and effectiveness.
Recruitment/Onboarding New Independent Travel Advisors:
- As assigned by Recruiter, interview IC candidates to provide insight and assess compatibility with office
- In cooperation with Recruiting/Onboarding team, promptly facilitate new advisor onboarding
- Along with new recruit, complete Onboarding form and submit
- Monitor progress of onboarding process to ensure efficiency and avoid errors or omissions of information or systems
- Provide new ICs with necessary system credentials and tools (email address, phone number, sign-in information, intranet, Client-base, etc.)
- Once IC is officially onboarded, schedule Orientation and necessary onboarding training, and weekly and monthly check ins
- Monitor progress of new IC to ensure fast ramp up time, profitability and satisfaction When able:
- Engage in community and network events to increase awareness of GTC and grow its advisor base
Support for Employees:
- Create and maintain a respectful and professional work environment
- Review company, business unit, branch and personal goals and objectives regularly
- Communicate and share pertinent company information and news in a clear and timely manner
- Provide overall training support
- Provide monthly and quarterly check ins
- Identify areas of improvement, assess knowledge and experience, and make recommendations for training
- Identify and support career growth opportunities
- Oversee house account/house agent productivity and retention, if applicable
- Perform staff analysis and evaluate staff performance/productivity
- Manage Net time, timesheets, and employee paid time off (“PTO”) schedules
- In conjunction with HR team, coordinate open enrollment (medical insurance, LTD, 401K and FSA benefit programs)
Training Support:
- Strong familiarity with all technology, tools, and applications available to field questions from Advisors and House Staff
Financial management:
- Ensure branch follows financially sound spending practices and staffing levels
- Quarterly P&L Review and 3 9 P&L Review with Finance Team and VP
- Monitor Cash Flow
- Monitor/sign checks
- Review monthly 1099 Payroll
- Review annual budget expenses
- Track new IC productivity and provide forecasting
Qualifications
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels both within and outside the company
- Working knowledge of travel management data
- Ability to resolve client service concerns
- Ability to learn and flexibility to absorb new software and methods
- Proven history of working with large-volume travel accounts, luxury products and high-end clientele
- Vendor-relation and management skills
- High-level knowledge of OBTs (On-Line Booking Tools)
- Budgeting and other financial experience
- Understanding of HR situations and issue resolution
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Sabre GDS; Matrix
