What You Will Do On The Job, As Account Manager:
- Coordinate the involvement of all stakeholders including company personnel, support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and clients’ expectations.
- Maintain database / visual map of the relationships Intertek holds with the client
- Develop trusted advisor status with key customer stakeholders.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
. • Ensure that the customer satisfaction expectations are met
- Ensure client receives necessary timely information (KPIs, HSE data, etc.) Plan the account and deliver sales targets
- Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
- Create, maintain and drive an opportunities pipeline for each account.
- Monitor sales performance and account health, including accounts receivables
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
- Manage tenders, contract renewals and contract performance
- Where necessary, write business cases for investments needs to realise key opportunities
- Identify marketing needs
- Identify and drive integrated opportunities across business lines. Facilitate performance dialogues
- Chair monthly key account meetings with CB EMEA Sales Director and be ready to support and / or replace the GKAM for quarterly account meetings with EVP and CEO
- Holds physical or online Key Account Manager team meetings at least twice per year.
- Support quarterly cross-business line meetings for the account Create fact-based insight
- Continuously refresh fact-based operational and financial performance of the key account (Phoenix data, i connect , Navarik), conduct benchmarking and identify trends, outliers, market intelligence
What It Takes To Be Successful In This Role:
- University undergraduate degree.
- Demonstrable industry experience preferably within energy background in multi-national environment.
- Demonstrable KAM experience including senior customer relationships.
- Experienced people leader.
- Advanced sales skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Multi-cultural sensitivity.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Organized and analytical, commercial savvy, strong negotiation skill, contractual awareness.
- Ability to work under strict time constraints and pressure.
- Comfortable to work multi-tasks environment.
- Interest for technically-oriented business world.
- Comfortable with IT tools (CRM, PPT, Excel…).
- Willingness to travel internationally. Preferred skills
- Fluent Spanish speaker preferred
